The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 31,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 11 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Now that you can be used on Android and iOS, I created a BBM group you can join and communicate with others. Just download the app and scan the QR code below to find my group. I’ve never used BBM myself, but I am going to give it a try.
I just want to take time and reflect on the three years I’ve been running this blog. I am actually pretty surprised that I have been able to post a different song for the past 1,097 days (plus a few bonus songs) without having any duplicate entries.
And while I don’t have a new contest to commemorate my third anniversary, I do want to point out that the original contest that I posted two years ago is in fact still open for someone to win.
I would like to take a moment to thank all my readers for getting me to over 50,000 page views last night. I could not have done this without you. Thank you!
I’m sure some of you have noticed changes with the links I provide. Bing has incorporated the music search into it’s regular search page. If you want to download the song, the links now appears in the upper right-hand side of the page. I’m sure most who have clicked through to Bing have figured this out, but I wanted to point this out to everyone. I’m not going to change the links in the post I’ve already set up to be published or that have already been published seems how the links still work, and the wording will remain “Bing Music” until the end of July. I’m not sure when or if Microsoft will every break the links I provide, but I’m not paid to maintain my blog, so I won’t be going back to fix anything that becomes broken. I’m sorry in advance if any link breaks, but you should be able to search yourself for any song posted with a quick copy and paste.
I know the year isn’t quite over yet, but so far my blog has had over 24,000 page views!

I’ve taken the time to make a unique favicon for my blog. Those with a keen eyesight probably can identify what it is. If you can’t quite make it out, here’s a hint: it’s a derivative work of the banner at the top of every page on the site. Quite literally. I actually just took the banner and cropped it for the favicon image. Yea laziness! Actually, it took a little bit more work than you might think, but it was still pretty simple to make. I might tweak it some, but I’m not sure yet.
Today, the U.S. House of Representatives is trying to pass the Stop Online Piracy Act. If you want to contact your congressmen about your feelings of this or any bills or laws, you may go to the House of Representatives’ or Senate’s site to find the contact information for your congressmen.
